Cookie Policy
1. Scope
This page describes cookies and similar technologies used by the Open-Source-Lab model catalogue. The Privacy Policy explains the personal information used to provide saved and compared models.
2. Cookies and tracking
The catalogue does not set first-party cookies. It does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking scripts. It has no cookie preference cookie because it does not offer optional cookie categories.
3. Browser local storage
A previous version kept saved and compared model identifiers in browser local storage. The current version reads those existing values once to transfer them to the saved-list service, then removes them after a successful transfer. If the service is unavailable, the old browser copy remains so it is not lost. New changes are kept in the browser only when a server save fails, and are removed after a later successful save or when you clear saved data.
Local storage is separate from cookies. You can remove it through your browser's site data controls. Removing the old saved values before a successful transfer will delete that browser copy.
4. Saved-list service and IP addresses
The current save feature uses the IP address sent with a page request to associate model selections with a network. This processing happens on the server and does not set or read a cookie. The IP address can be shared by people on the same network, and lists may be visible to those requests. See the Privacy Policy for data and deletion details.
5. Third-party resources
The catalogue loads fonts from Google Fonts and a brand image from Poe's content delivery network. Your browser sends those providers an IP address and basic request information when it loads the resources. Those requests are separate from cookies placed on this site. Model and community links open independent services only when you choose to follow them. Review the relevant provider's own privacy and cookie information for its practices.
6. Managing browser data
Choose Clear in the catalogue to remove the saved and compared lists associated with your current IP address. Use your browser's site data controls to remove any remaining local storage or cookies. Clearing browser data does not delete data held by an external service you visit.
7. Legal references
The EU ePrivacy Directive addresses storing or accessing information on a user's device. The GDPR applies to personal-data processing where its territorial scope and conditions are met. California's current CCPA statute and regulations took effect on 1 January 2026. Whether a rule applies depends on the user's location and the operator's circumstances.
